My name is Samantha and I am a traveling wedding and elopement photographer based in Ohio. Say hello to my brand new website, branding, and blog. I am so excited for this next step in my business and that you are here with me to experience it all!
A LITTLE ABOUT ME…
I am married to my high school sweetheart Jacob and we have been together for 14 years (married for 8). It has been a crazy journey with each other, navigating college, while growing up/becoming our own people, and now raising our three kids, Jackson(5), Maverick(4), and Reagan(1). We enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling together. This past summer we completely renovated a 20-year-old camper to be able to travel more. We are very excited to be able to put it to use this coming year – stay tuned for all of those adventures. I also enjoy thrifting and finding a great deal, I’m learning how to per-fect sourdough, and I love a good iced coffee.
I WASN’T ALWAYS A PHOTOGRAPHER…
I actually have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and am certified to teach. I was a high school math teacher in Hamilton, Ohio for five years before we decided to move back to our hometown to raise our babies near our family. That is when we decided I would be a stay at home mom. But if you know me, you know that I cannot just do one thing. So naturally, I started a photography business. I’ve always had an interest for photography and cameras but never had the time. In late 2021, I decided to do some Christmas Mini Sessions out of my garage which I transformed into a winter wonderland and the rest is history.
