PORTRAITS
We are awkward. We've never had our photos taken- what do we do?
I've heard it so many times. You aren't models and I'm not expecting you to be. I want to capture the real stuff - when you are snuggling up and cracking jokes with each other. Just be yourself and your photos will reflect that! I'll give you posing prompts and guide you through the process every step of the way.
Where are you located? Do you travel?
I'm located in a small town you've probably never heard of just north of Dayton, Ohio. I work frequently in Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati, and the surrounding areas. And abso-freaking-lutely, I love to travel! You say the word and I will pack my bags to join you on any adventure! Trust me, it doesn't take much convincing!
How many images are included?
This varies session to session! For lifestyle sessions, a minimum of 40 images for an hour long session. For weddings, a 6 hour wedding a minimum of 400 images, for 8 hours of wedding coverage a minimum of 600 images, and 10 hours of wedding coverage a minimum of 800 images.
How does payment work?
Sessions have a 50% retainer to secure your date + the remaining balance due the day of, before your session begins. For weddings, a 25% retainer is needed to reserve your date + the remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding! I'll send payment reminders too so it doesn't sneak up on ya!!
What can I expect during a photoshoot with you?
To have a fun experience that leaves you with lasting memories! I will have you do silly things like walking towards me while bumping hips or attacking each other with kisses to capture the love and laughter in your relationship. Prompting over posing gives the opportunity for all of your photos to be unique to you.
What is your turnaround time?
For couples, lifestyle, and senior session my turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.
For weddings and elopements, my turnaround time is 6-8 weeks. I know, that's a hot minute but I always send a sneak peek within 24-72 hours. That way you can relive your day over and over again until you receive your full gallery!
What do I wear for my session?
For sessions, I provide a detailed style guide to give you some guidance and tips + tricks to help prepare you for your session. Ultimately, I want you to feel your best so wear whatever makes you feel the most confident! If you're uneasy about your outfit, it will show in pictures and we don't want that!

We wanted the warm, moody, industrial look so I knew her style was exactly what I envisioned, but I did NOT expect her to capture our love in a photo. Truthfully, still trying to figure out how this was possible. Most photos look so posed and cheesy but these photos have our passion behind them. Incredible. You’ve already done your part by inquiring! This is a chance for us to get to connect and see if we would work well together. It's important to connect with each other and make sure we vibe. Then I will send over a wedding planning guide and we will discuss your wedding day vision. I'll help you figure out which package would work best to what you're looking for. Then, I will send you a customized timeline for free after the call so you can begin to visualize how your day will flow!

After chatting, I will send you a proposal where you can select which package and add-ons would suit you best. From there you can read over the contract and view the invoice with your partner, and once you are ready to book, pay the 25% retainer fee. After that, we are officially, official!!! I will do a little happy dance then send you several guides and info to begin planning your engagement session before the wedding.

This is where the fun begins! I love to stay connected with my couples, so I’ll add and follow you on social media (Instagram and Facebook) where we get to know a little bit more about each other! We will get to know each other even more during your engagement session and you'll get amazing pics in the process. Leading up to your wedding, I will send you a questionnaire and schedule a meeting so we can finalize all of the details.

Leading up to your big day
On wedding day, I arrive extra early to set up and begin detail photos, and document the day from there. Not only am I photographing your day, but I'm also working to make sure it goes down without a hitch! I will often run to grab a forgotten item, relay information to the DJ, coordinate with the officiant, fluff your dress, scrub out a stain on your hem, and anything else that needs to happen to make sure your day runs smoothly!

I know how eager you are to see your photos, so I always deliver sneak peeks 24-72 hours after your wedding.
Unfortunately, this is the end of our experience, BUT lucky for you, you’ll get to relive the best day of your life with all these amazing photos. Approximately 6-8 weeks after you say, “I do!”, you’ll receive your gallery full of love, laughs and ugly cries.
